UC Cancer Institute

The University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute's tripartite mission is elevating the level of cancer care in our community—and beyond—through advancing translational and clinical research, education of the next generation of medical providers and delivering multidisciplinary care models that achieve cancer eradication and control as well as address the quality of life issues unique to cancer patients.

Giving Opportunities

Cancer Research & Education

A gift for research and education will provide pilot grant funding for testing of bold new cancer research ideas and enhancement of shared resources/technologies used to conduct science more efficiently and cost effectively. It will also support innovative new translational research programs that propel promising laboratory research ideas to the patient’s bedside and novel experimental cancer clinical trials. It will also support critical oncology-focused fellowship programs in both clinical medicine and cancer research.

Cancer Patient Care & Support

Your gift toward patient care and support will help provide assistance to people who do not have the financial means to shoulder the cost of cancer care as well as enhanced clinical service offerings such as survivorship, integrative medicine, nurse navigator services, patient support services, transportation assistance and funds for enhancement of technology used in clinical care delivery.

The University of Cincinnati (UC) Cancer Institute delivers adult oncology care throughout Greater Cincinnati through UC Health, which includes the UC Medical Center (formerly University Hospital), West Chester Hospital and outpatient care sites in Clifton (the Barrett Center and Hoxworth Center) and West Chester (UC Health Physicians Offices North and South).
