Queen City Rocketry (QCR) is a senior design group from the University of Cincinnati Department of Aerospace Engineering with a focus on designing, manufacturing and testing a high power rocket to compete in the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) in June 2027! 

IREC is the world's largest university ​rocket engineering competition, held in ​Spaceport Midland, Texas. The competition brings over 150 universities together as students prepare to launch solid, liquid and hybrid rockets to target altitudes of either 10,000, 30,000 or 45,000 feet above ground level. Competing rockets are typically 4 to 8 inches in diameter and 8 to 20 feet long with a minimum payload size of 2.2 pounds.
