Marking 55 Years of Excellence in Emergency Medicine—Join the Celebration, Support the Future

Dr. Greg Fermann
Gregory Fermann, MD

As the first Emergency Medicine training program in the nation, we are entrusted to carry on the legacy of excellence established by those educators, researchers and clinicians who came before us. We want to ensure that future residents are given the same opportunities to continue our program’s rich legacy. So much has changed in the last 55 years, but what hasn’t changed is that our residency program remains at the forefront of our specialty. As we confront the challenges before us, your support will help us develop innovative programs for the generations to come.

Our Vision

As part of the region’s academic health system and only Level 1 trauma center for adults, UC Medical Center is an unparalleled community resource. The UCMC Emergency Department receives patients from over 20 counties across the Tristate. As leaders in emergency medicine research, we work continually to provide the latest in evidence-based care and create new knowledge for the benefit of our patients and our region.
