The Pilot Research Project Program is part of University of Cincinnati's Education and Research Center, funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The program funds pilot projects in occupational safety and health research for students and junior faculty. Over 300 pilot projects have been funded since the program began and those researchers have secured over $48 million in extramural grant funds using pilot data from their original projects.
Donations support the Pilot Research Project Symposium which hosts students, faculty and industry professionals from the Midwest region each year and provides continuing education, networking opportunities and presentations on current occupational safety and health research.
