Ohio Innocence Project 20th Anniversary
Founded in 2003 at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, the Ohio Innocence Project is Ohio’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to freeing innocent people in prison and preventing wrongful convictions. Since 2003, the OIP has freed 42 innocent Ohioans that have served over 820 years wrongfully imprisoned.
Join us as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary with an impactful program featuring world-renowned author John Grisham.
At the gala you will gain a profound understanding of the organization’s mission and values. You will hear from exonerees and learn how the OIP frees the innocent, improves the criminal justice system, and helps prevent wrongful convictions. There will also be a mission moment at the end; we hope you will feel inspired to support this great work. Following dinner and the program, there will be an after-party featuring the Exoneree Band.
