What is Fluency Friday?
Fluency Friday is a one-day workshop for students (3rd grade through 12th grade) who stutter and their parents/caregivers. Students participate in individual and group sessions, as well as participate in and observe panel discussions. Throughout the day, parents/caregivers attend presentations from experts in the field of stuttering and have opportunities to ask questions and get to know other parents.

Programming is led by licensed speech-language pathologists with the assistance of graduate clinicians from the University of Cincinnati. Fluency Friday is collaborative community effort between Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the University of Cincinnati, and Hamilton County Educational Service Center. Most of all, Fluency Friday is a chance for students to come together, have fun, and learn from each other.
