The Charles McMicken Society honors our alumni and friends who demonstrate their belief in the University of Cincinnati through their extraordinary philanthropic support. Established in 1972 by Dr. George Rieveschl, Jr., it is UC’s preeminent donor recognition society with programs for annual and lifetime giving.
The society is named for Charles McMicken, a visionary philanthropist whose 1858 bequest to the City of Cincinnati created an endowment to carry out his strong desire to provide young people with the opportunity to benefit from a quality college education.
Today, you and the university impact lives and create a unique destiny for our students and community. You are an important part of UC’s exciting legacy, leading the way to a bold new century of accomplishments, forever changing our world.
