Support the Sigma Sigma Scholarships
Sigma Sigma was founded at the University of Cincinnati in the year 1898 by a group of young men whose purpose was to foster and encourage college spirit and enhancing the glory of our Alma Mater in the college world.
More than 125 years later, The Torch Still Burns and The Hammers Still Ring.
For generations, Sigma Sigma has been more than an honorary. It has been a brotherhood built on friendship, leadership, service, commitment, and a deep love for the University of Cincinnati.
Today, we have the opportunity to carry that legacy forward by investing in future generations of Bearcats and Sigma Sigma leaders, by supporting two scholarship funds that honor the lives, leadership, and lasting impact of two extraordinary Sigma Sigma brothers: Danny Dell and Jed Small. Many of us knew Danny. Some of us knew Jed. All of us have benefited from the brotherhood they helped strengthen.
Your gift helps ensure that their commitment to Sigma Sigma continues to shape young leaders for years to come.
The Danny Dell / Sigma Sigma Scholarship
The Danny Dell / Sigma Sigma Scholarship provides housing support in the Sigma Sigma house for an active chapter member, undergraduate or graduate, selected by the scholarship committee.
Recipients are chosen based on leadership, character, and passion for Sigma Sigma — the same qualities that defined Danny’s lifelong commitment to our organization.
A gift to the Danny Dell Scholarship helps keep the Sigma Sigma house accessible to future student leaders and honors a brother who gave so much of himself to Sigma Sigma.
Jed Small / Sigma Sigma Scholarship
The Jed Small / Sigma Sigma Scholarship was created to attract outstanding students to the University of Cincinnati who are lineal descendants of members of the Sigma Sigma Honorary.
Recipients demonstrate a genuine commitment to community service, leadership, extracurricular involvement, and academic achievement. The scholarship helps continue Sigma Sigma’s tradition of supporting students who are prepared to make a meaningful impact at UC and beyond.
