Move for Molly

June 22nd will mark 8 years since my Mom, Molly, passed away after a hard fought battle with Parkinson’s disease. Mom loved being active and I began this group workout day, Move for Molly, a few years ago in her honor.
Join us on Saturday, June 22nd from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Revive Strength and Wellness to Move for Molly!
The Move for Molly workout consists of 6 rounds of 22 Double/Single Unders (jumprope), 22 Squats and 22 Situps followed by a 2016m Row.
Move for Molly is a day to not only recognize my mother, but to celebrate the power of movement. Every day I wake up and I’m able to move, under my own power. Every day I wake up able to make my own decisions, and not have my day decided for me by a disease or illness. I am blessed and need to embrace it.
If you wake up and are capable of moving under your own power; be thankful. Embrace it. Move.
