Transforming campus: Philanthropy supported new spaces for learning and engagement, including the UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business, UC College of Law, UC College of Allied Health Sciences and Clifton Court Hall.
Training innovators: Supported by donors, UC is advancing higher education through new opportunities with the Center for Entrepreneurship, Warren Bennis Leadership Institute, Service-Learning Co-op and the Portman Center for Policy Solutions.
Advancing justice: As of its 20th anniversary, the Ohio Innocence Project within the UC College of Law has exonerated 42 men and women, supported by thousands of donors with a $15 million gift from Richard Rosenthal, the most significant donation for any innocence program.
Expanding computer science: A $25 million donation from Jim Goetz, BSEE ’88 inspired the renaming of the Engineering Research Center to the Mantei Center after Thomas Mantei, PhD, emeritus professor, and enhanced the department of computer science for students.
